The sneaky buzzards at Epiphone released these into the marketplace with little fanfare and they were snapped up in pretty short order. Korina is the "correct" wood for a V, and this is truly a beautiful instrument to see in person. It is remarkably light in weight and sits nicely on your lap if you play in the seated position. It is fitted out with an Alnico Classic humbucker at the neck and an Alnico Classic Plus humbucker at the bridge. This provides you a gracious plenty of clean volume, perfect for unleashing your inner Albert King. It is festooned in gold hardware which highlights that Korina very nicely. This one looks as good as it sounds.
